Thats what gear-wrenches are for, 1/4 ratchet simply isnt strong enough, nor is it long enough to get leverage on it. It may work good for some applications, but in my expierence it isnt worth it. Although I seemed to have lost all of my 1/4 ratchets, except my palm ratchet.
