As for the bar, you have to go into the place with an understanding of the way the bar is. There is a bar here in NYC that is similar to that except patrons (girls only... I tried in a drunken stupor once and got the PA treatment) get up on the bar and dance and take their tops off. Anything from the really hot chick to the 60-year-old (ask Jim Schu) to the 250 lb girl gets up there. It's hit-or-miss with what you'll see on a given night. Anyway, this place is rude and down-and-dirty. You have to work to get on the bartenders' good side. I went once and got kicked out. It was funny. I went another time and got harassed like you wouldn't believe with the megaphone. I went another time (can you believe I went back all these times? That's just the way the place is... they yell at you and blow things out of proportion and make fun of you... it's part of the 'ambiance') and Ray K gave the bartender a killer tip (all he had was 20's and the bill came to exactly 20. He didn't want the PA treatment so he tipped her with another 20!!! We got free drinks and top notch service the rest of the night (about 6 hours) By the end, Ray was telling the bartender to make fun of some guy cause he looked goofy and she did! You just have to go in there expecting that, that's all
As for Matt O... was the olds 88 like Uncle Chuck's in Rochester with Lee hanging out the front window puking? Was it as much fun as Dallas in 2000? Hi, welcome to Texas
