A small note: before adjusting the belt, loosen the pivot bolt on the bottom of the alternator. This will allow the alternator to pivot freely. If the bolt is not loosened, the bracket with the adjustment bolts might snap.. Be sure to tighten the pivot bolt after adjusting the alternator.
