I heard about that too! Though I was not at the convention (damn!) I did hear all the great stories.
It is a great time, but Sentra Es are VERY light. A guy named John Almazan had a very fast Sentra E with a SR20DE put into it. One of his fastest times was a 14.4 @ 97 with the normal breathing mods (I/H/E), unsure if he was on slicks or not.
I also heard that VE Sentra E was very very gutted - holes drilled everywhere and even Lexan windows! And they were using C16 with advanced timing. But, still a great time.
I would love to see how one these engines would perform in a "street trim" car.
