Just finished my install today, and I declare my independence from mild overheating in traffic.

What a great writeup, this is an easy mod even for those without a lot of electrical experience.

NAPA has a great switch (Valmar model 31302 part no. 751-1089) that is illuminated, and almost fits PERFECTLY in one of the blank switch holes (next to the cluster dimmer switch or next to the power mirror controls).

ONE MORE IMPORTANT NOTE, when reading the ECU Pinout diagram, make sure to pay close attention to the orientation of the diagram. the way my ECU was situated, I had to rotate the diagram 180 degrees. YMMV, just be extra careful to get the right wire.
