Thanks for the info Chris! I am still debating doing that or having someone turn down the end with a lathe. Somone mentioned that it might be better to turn it down and leave the brass insert in because it is a wearing part. (Better that the soft insert wear down than the aluminum casting and get gritchy) Not sure if it matters. But at least we have 2 options for going about this!
