Heres what I noticed on the one site that many people to use to wire their MSS(
http://www.sr20ve.co.uk/). On his site he has the orange wire and the red wire mixed up. The Orange is supposed to be constant while the red is accessory. Switching these two wires will cause the MSS to stay on after the car is turned off. As previously stated somewhere you do not need constant power for the MSS, it has an eprom and will remember the settings after it is turned off.
