From what I understand about the Silvia's new 6 speed gearbox, it was actually the old 5 speed casing with 6 (smaller) gears shoved inside. Guys were blowing this trans up, so they're swapping the old 5 speeds into newer cars. It just might be the same old case with physically smaller gears crammed inside. It's just a guess...
