Most degreasers like castrol superclean, spray nine, greased lightning work well. Warm the engine (not hot, warm) cover important electrical items like the dizzy, maf, and put plastic bags in the spark plug galley on the VC. wet the engine, spray the degreaser and let it sit for about 10 mins. spray some more on then hose off. after you rinse, go over the spots that are still dirty with degreaser again and use a scrub brush or a wash mitt to get the tough to clean spots.
