Chicago was decided last year. They wanted it this year, but after hearing that the NE guys were interested, JP and the crew backed up and grabbed '07. The people that organize the conventions, are people that GO to conventons, and not just one. You will not believe the amount of planning that is involved. I had 9 months to plan '03 after the track the Kansas guys wanted to use, fell through. Even though 9 months sounds like a long time, there was a bunch of last minute things to do, right up to the day before, and the day(s) of. I've been going back and forth about hosting '09, but it depends on where the group is, and me too at that time.
