CalumSult won't respond correctly because it is asking for a parameter your ecu doesn't support, and then hanging. Thats odd, I would have guessed your ecu would support everything an SR ecu would. I'm e-mailing you a program to run that will let me know what all your ecu supports, e-mail me the result and I'll see if I can quickly hack a version of CalumSult for your ecu.
If your maf really isn't doing anything than that is your problem. Get a mutlimeter and verify exactly what your maf is doing. This may be easier to do all the way back at the ecu. Whats the p/n on your maf?
