Here is an interesting one....
This was a BlueBird motor, although now we are beginning to wonder exactly what the hell it is.
I don't know anything about the turbo.
The head has 53J 2L stamped on it. Its a highport with no EGR. Has sodium filled valves, purple injectors.
Here is the weird part...motor came with a burgundy valve cover with a black channel. It wasn't supposed to, at least going by the codes that I have found. It should have a silver or a red cover.
The only thing that I can think is that maybe the valve cover was swapped at some point??
