Sorry for the delay in response. Yes, I don't completley turn off the knock sensor (btw, if you want the knock sensor and o2 sensor totally off, remove all the feedback bits from the fuel and timing maps, and set the 'feedback control' flags to 00). I remove the feedback bits from the timing maps, which just stops it from pulling timing, but the ecu will still enter 'safe' modes. Those modes are not well documented.
