In order to help protect our valued users here on the forum, we've instituted a policy whereby sellers with open complaints against them may be banned from posting in the classified section. This will be policed on a case by case basis, but for the most part if a moderator believes that a seller isn't dealing with their customer in good faith when a complaint is opened against them, we will add them to a group that is prohibited from posting in all areas of the classified section.
Help us to help you - If a seller is ignoring you or giving you the runaround, it's important that you open a thread detailing the problem. By doing that, you're not only helping yourself, but your fellow forum members as well.
Help the forum - Please take advantage of the iTrader Buyer/Seller rating system. It only takes a minute to leave a rating. And don't hesitate to leave negative ratings when appropriate.
Help yourself - Before dealing with a seller, always check their Seller Rating,
The Seller/Vendor Blacklist and search their username in the
Buying / Selling Experiences forum.
Lazy sellers beware - You're not welcome here. If you're the too busy to get to the post office for a week / work 12 hours a day / don't have a car that runs, or any of the other excuses which we've all seen in the past, then either disclose that info up front, or sell your parts somewhere else.
Nothing aggrevates me more than to see people get ripped off on the forum. Sometimes it's blatant, and we'll ban the seller. Other times the seller just needs a little 'push' to do the right thing, and this is one way for us to do that without banning them.
So you've all got four tools at your disposal here.
- The Buyer / Seller Experineces section
- iTrader
- The "Bad" Seller user group
- The Seller/Vendor Blacklist
You guys do your part, and we'll do ours.
Thanks
