we need someone to get a hand on a consult 2 computer + car and work out how it all works so we can write software for it
i work at a nissan dealer and this is true. useing consult II if you want to use it on an OBDI car you use the OBDI cable and conect it to the consult computer. for OBD II you need to connect the OBD II cable with the OBD II converter on it.

OBD II cable=red plug
OBD I cable= grey plugs
OBD II converter box= medium sized black rectangle on the left (this goes inline between the OBD II plug and the consult box its self)
