Since I came to them with my car and an exact set of specs for these springs, they would not be allowed to continue to produce them and sell them for themselves. You could stand to make a bit of money on this.

If they wanted to sell your design of spring, I bet you could draw up some kind of contract that would give you liscensing for the design, and a percentage of the sales.
