I know what you're saying. There's no depth to the paint. A smooth, glossy finish isn't the same is getting a mirror-like reflection, but I like the way the Maxima turned out.

You can get the mirror-like deep shine out of the black paint with enough wet sanding, but it takes hours and hours to step it down and get it smooth enough.
