well I rolled the first layer on just a few minutes ago, and had my first "What in God's name am I doing" moment. The surface is looks absolutely horrific, with orange peel and thick roller marks hehe... Current weather 80F and 51% humidity. I coulda swore I added like 80% spirits to the paint in the rolling tray, and it still rolled on a lil' thick. Hmm will have to add alot more I suppose if I am to avoid anymore bad layers like the one I just did.

I rolled the first layer out in the sun, and so this thing is drying extremely fast. In a few minutes, I was able to touch the surface with my finger without having any paint transfer to my fingertip. Note to self: leave the f'ing gloves on until everything's put away, or hands will get painted smeared to hell.

It is looking like I need to sand this layer done almost back to the primer to get rid of the mess I made. Oh well, I'm still at the bottom of the learning curve, can't wait to start wet sanding this bitch
