And if you drop back to 2003/2004, not sure that even Plenum, cams, header are all different - both rated at 287 crank hp, same redline and gearing, other than the engine cover my G has a better CAI than the 2003Z did stock, and if you drop a K&N filter in the airbox, get rid of the G Coupe's resonator pipe and use the Z-tube, the G edges up about +5 whp on the dyno.

Seems like the divergence happened after 2004, my G Coupe and 350Z engines seemed to be identical in almost every way. Both dyno'd almost identically in stock trim even with the 350Z on paper rated higher at the crank. The Sedan was a different story, for certain, but not so sure the Coupe and 350Z had many differences back then under the hood.

I only mention it because donor cars are likely to be the older cars, and if they're the same, opens up more choices.
