I'm there for sure, Anyone know a good car transports company for NY to CA? i wanna bring my car this time!
You're probably looking at $1500 or so roundtrip, if not more. Plus you generally have to work around the transport companies scheduling, as they usually won't make that kind of haul for just one car. I'm afraid I'll be fyling and renting next year. It's just WAY to much hassle for me to try and get my car there.
there was a DC convention more recently than SoCal. we havent had a convention since 1998, and it was just a picnic. considering that a large number of SE-R guys live here, its about time we got one.

Actually, the first SE-R convention was held in SoCal in 1998. It was held there again in 1999. In 2000 it was held in DFW. In 2001 it was held in DC. 2002 it was in Phoenix. This year of course was in Bama.
So, SoCal was the original location and being gluttons for punishment, they did it again. Time to go back me thinks.

Yeah, my brother used to work for the defense department back in the '80's, and lived in Austin. Visisted him lots of times, beautiful weather, nice people, good food... Eh, but that was 20 years ago, probably a poophole now. I'm with Khiem, everybody just stay away.
Sandra Who? Is she the one who married Lyle Lovett and they had beautiful babies together?, snerk
Later,
Mark(We'll be our own caravan coming from FL)

Man, thats almost a week just to get there and back. Towing a car, no less. I only get 2 weeks of vacation a year. I'd rather just fly out early and soak up some SoCal scenery. That's the plan anyway.
