Carbotech pads for the convention

The last several years, we've offered great deals on pads for convention participants. We're doing it again for 2005...

From now until April 1, $99 for front pads to fit your OE Nissan caliper (SE-R, NX2K, B14, B15) in Panther Plus material.

In addition, we'll be sending several $25 product certificates for door prizes.

This deal is for CONVENTION PARTICIPANTS ONLY.

Operators are standing by.....

Matt

Edit: $99 does NOT include shipping to you.

Thanks for extending a savings again, Carbotech! P+ pads are great!

I still have alot of meat left on the ones I ordered last year or I'd jump on this deal, again!

Great to hear Matt. I'll be giving you a call in a week or so, so I can get mine installed and bedded in.

Anybody run the P+'s on the street (non-daily drivers)?

Josh

Yep, and they'll go out VERY soon. Just slotted them up today.

You *can* if you like dust and a few squeeks. I actually have XP8s on the daily driver right now because I'm spending all my "work on the car energy" screwing with my damn tranny on the racecar and haven't taken them off since VIR a few weeks ago.

You can use them on the street, if you like headbutting the steering wheel everyday.

Yeppers, I boiled fluid with these and didn't know it. These pads rock.

For daily use they do squeel a bit, but I never cared to much about it. And believe what Eric said about head butting the steering wheel. It's rediculous how much difference a pad can make.

Panther Pluses squeal plenty in low-temp around town driving. Fellow motorists don't know how awesome your brakes are, and eye their rear-views with anxiety. Be ready to shame school buses.

Can't fault them, though. They are a track pad, and wow, they work at the track. Add heat, and they shut up and grab. If mine didn't have a lot of material left, I would be all over this deal. I will likely be calling up for street pads, anyway.

hehe Ray Kawski warped a pad in his turbo and the car was still stopping great! He's got a pic of the pad somewhere, it was funny! He was hitting speeds of ~140 at WGI. These pads are so great that they had me outbraking EVERYTHING at Pocono long course down from 120 or so (I was passing Vipers INTO the turn-in who had just flown past me at a claimed 170!)

On the street... I was lazy once after a track event and left them on. They outbraked my tires and I almost couldn't stop. The tires just didn't have the same grip with the road that the pads had with the rotor!

Incredible pads!

So if I'm a cheap ass, is there any draw back to the P+'s on the street other than the sound and brake dust?

I ran them for 4 months last year with no ill effects... to lazy to change them over between events.

I would imagine you should order them now and put them in for the convention.

Are you just offering that on Panther pads? I'd like a set of Bobcats for my Classic.
