my tws vids

Hey Justin, one of my other friends got a host for my vids:

http://www.etsweb.net/tws.wmv ~40 megs

http://www.etsweb.net/tws2.wmv ~70 megs

2nd session, intermediate group. I was first one out on the track in the first vid and Dustin from Houston was riding shotgun. 131 on the techtom on the straight (so figure 136ish on the speedo)

2nd vid is the same session, now Will from Florida is riding shotgun.

I'm apexing a tad early i a couple sections (namely carosel and the last chicane before the straight). Other wise, I think the lines are pretty good. Coming off the banking, I straightline brake heading straight towards the big tower in the background and then turn in. I think that's the only major line difference I was taking (aside from the carosel and chicane).

Sorry about the wind noise. And the few times I used 3rd coming out of the turn onto the backstraight and through the chicane, I was spinning the inside tire (worn out lsd )

Damn you hit 131 on the straight? You must be boosted then. Cool vids!

just a t25 and some s3 cams I only pushed it down the front straight twice where i turned the boost up past stock and revved it to 7k+ rpms. the rest of the time, I was at stock boost and shifting around 6.5k. Didn't want too much water pump cavitation. Not that I was going slow or anything

Nice vids.! Lines were good, I can see your point on the shicane entrance however it didn't look like you were driving at 10/10ths all the time to try and use every inch anyway, so I'd say great job!

nah, I was only going about 80% into the turns. Left me lots of margin for some sort of car failure (brake fade, tire fade). I did have the pedal go a bit soft due to boiling the fluid and the tires did start to slide when they got too hot. Once I turned in though, I was generally full throttle. Too bad I was scared to use 3rd more.

On the chicane, I was only apexing a LITTLE early in my opinion. I was eating up a LOT of ground on almost everyone through that section and the carosel as I think people were apexing way too late (I had to lift a number of times to keep from getting too close coming out of there). On the chicane, the exit is very wide onto the straight so you can apex a bit early on the lefthander and have plenty of track to power out. That's just my opinion though. Car setup is always a factor in how a car handles those sections.

Oh, just made it back to Florida (chilled the past week w/ friends in Texas). 130k+ miles and the car still runs great
