Newark SUCKS! Parking is horrible traffic is nuts! Long term parking might as well be in Manhattan it's so far away. Flying in may be better for some things but traffic around Newark always sucks.
I have flown from/to PHL and EWR many times and PHL wins hands down.
Long term parking at Newark is ridiculously far away. But, people flying in for the convention won't have to worry about that. I like PHL better, its much less congested.

I have to agree with the parking but traffic? I may be partial but the only time I've ever seen horrible traffic in/around Newark in terms of getting into and out of the airport and onto a local highway is right at the evening rush... between 4:30 and 6. Other than that, I've gone through that area many, many, many times (you know how close I am Ray) without a problem.
The parking... I almost missed a flight once because I parked my car at the long term parking 1:30 before my flight!!!

Try getting to EWR from anywhere not located within 15 minutes of it. I have never made it to EWR at *ANYTIME* on time!

Do not forget flying into Avoca/Scranton as well. I believe their code is AVP?
It is equal distance from the HoJo as Lehigh Valley (ABE), so compare rates as well. AVP tends to be a 'smidge' cheaper than those flying into or out of Lehigh Valley / ABE

You know, I have $400 deltabucks that I'm looking to burn since I have no reason to fly anymore (they overbooked my flight), so, if anyone needs a flight from somewhere to somewhere else, I can book the flight from my airport counter (HSV) and they'll print your ticket wherever you happen to be.
If you want to pay me partial (like $150 for the entire $400 or something) you can, but I won't make you... I just don't want to see the $$$ go to waste, ya know? It'll be worth it to see more ppl. at the convention.
PM me if interested. ////H
