I need a ride for the track event

I hate driving rent a cars, they suck too bad. Its too far to ship my car. I want to drive a good car.

I am a NASA Instructor, SE-R Cup racer, I can instruct and I probably wont hurt your car. I am So Cal SERCA's main instructor. Anyone bringing a SE-R Cup/ITA car?

I would of course let you drive my car but you will have to bring blocks of wood to reach the pedals because my seat doesn't move.

Make sure to turn off the "Malboro breathing system" as well.

Mike, does the car you drive have to be certified in some way? I don't follow the racing thing much.

I am working to make sure my car will be track ready and you are more than welcome to take it out for a session. I would of course expect you to try and secure a CUP car for the main ride understanding that is your preference, but if all is well and my car is drivable, just one more to "try out" for some fun!

Drive Jason Schymanski's car, Mike. It's saweeeeet.

Classic with VE, big brakes, roll bar, oil cooler, Volks, and sticky rubber. I drove that car 8 laps at TWS in April and -oh my- is it nice.

Perfect car for you, IMHO.

Actually I bet Terry's car was more fun. 140 mph blasts down the front straight were a blast.

Make the seat moveable for short people. I remember driving mike pahls car and I could not even see out the windshield because his seat was so low (ask Kierin). I had to drive looking out the side window although I was told that I set the fastest lap at the 2002 or 2003 (I forget which) convention with it.

I remember only seeing just the top of your visor coming down the straight at lil' Talladega. Looked like the car was driving itself.

Remember it's a turbo GA, we have not yet seen the normal 3rd gear issues the SR's have

I is a PITA to make the seat moveable since I have a seat back brace connected to the cage. Actually I think my seat is even lower than Mike's was back then. And I remember me and mike putting you in the car and telling you to suck it in as we slid the seat forward into the belts.

LOL!!! I remember telling you where to brake, where to turn, where to accelerate... that was fun. Like closing your eyes and letting the passenger tell you where to go. Until I told you that you could go a little deeper before braking and you had an oops

If I can work out the issues I have with my car and hopefully get a track event prior to the convention to sort the car and suspension out (I've yet to have a full day's worth of 'playing' with the car since I put the SHigSpeed on two and a half years ago!!!) you can play with my car that day... I'll even put the yellow wheels on to make you feel at home

I'm sure it was more fun...right up to the point where you had to turn and brake. Then, it's Jason's car by a landslide. IMHO.
