Well do to some things changing out here I can go to the convention now. So who wants to have their beam bent while I am out there? I would need to arrange several things to do this. I need to ship my beam to someone, Get camber plates out there, and have a decent place to do it. Last time I did it in the parking lot which was fine. So speak up. Also, if you live local or are driving to the convention and I can ship my beam to you in advance, speak up. I need some help to get my stuff to the convention with out using the plane.
Steve, I am DEFINATELY going to the convention in PA. So if you want to ship it to me, then that is fine by me. I will also have a Longacre (or there of) Camber gauge too. It's something like this:

Great thanks. I would prefer to have it shipped to within about 50 miles of the meet just in case something goes wrong. Are you bringing Toe Plates by any chance?

I'm in. I could have kicked myself for not letting you do it back in Alabama (not to mention that it costs more now.)

Depending on where you'd like to do the bending, either Ray or myself could receive your tools/equipment. I'm less than 20 miles from the hotel and Ray is probably about 10-15 miles from the track.
If you have enough interest (I hope you do... anyone who hasn't done it already, it makes a world of difference!!!) my address is 75-94 Liberty Avenue Jersey City, NJ 07306

Great, I would prefer to send the stuff close to the site. Good news.
Considering the knowledge and tools required, and the fact that to my knowledge there is only one other person in the country that does this, and the fact that it is such a significant improvement, $130 is cheap. Might help to list what all models you will be able to do steve.

From what I hear this is a great mod
My question is what will this do to wear on the rear tires. any unusual wear on rear suspension?
i need to get my tien basics for me to do this correct?

This is a PHENOMENAL mod. Prior to having a screwed up front alignment (I tried to do a ghetto alignment but failed!) and after having the beam bent followed by the rollbar welded in, my car felt extremely neutral (unfortunately this is just from pushing it on the street) But with just the beam being bent alone, I couldn't believe what a difference it made. It made about as much of a difference in the handling of my car as the $2600 in suspension I spent although I am in no way knocking the suspension

No unussual wear. In fact the rear suspension has about 1/4 inch of toe in from the factory which is on the edge of causeing rear tire wear. I take that toe in out. So tire wear should in theory be better. Reality is that bent or unbent you wont have issues with tire wear in back. In fact the easist cars to bend are those with the stock suspension. Suspension mods are not effected at all by this mod.
I can fix the rear beam of B14's and B15's (95+ cars basically), also the 95ish Maximas The 2000ish maximas I can't do. B13's don't need this mod. It's strictly a "Beam Thing"
Once I am done you would need a trained eye to see the mod. I am not going to post how you would know its done so that stock class people don't get protested easier. In the end I bend the beam to the edge of factor specs. 0 toe is still within factory specs in the FSM and where you would set a B13 for most driving.
I have not tried them personally, but if Mike says they are good then I would use them myself. He gave postive reviews of the ES bushing which never got reliesed.
Just to add something to why you bend the beam. The beam cars get a bad rap (for good reason) for being understeering cars. They stuck a bunch of "toe in" onto the rear beam. People have tried to tune around this "toe in" by using a lot of rear spring/bar. But in the end that just makes the car "snappy". Take that "toe in" out of the back and the car can 4 wheel slide just like a B13 (for lack of a better description). Until you fix that "toe in" issue on a B14/15 you wont get that great feeling. B15's are not as bad as B14's but they still have too much toe in from the factory.
