Josh, we had 10 or 11 per session on '03. I don't think we had 25 last year, but it was hard to tell.

My track tires (Azenis 615) have been ordered, so I'm ready to go.

LOL! As for group size, we (and PDA) usually aim for around 20-25 cars. I've been on track on the south course with what was considered a sellout with around 25 cars per group and it really didn't get too cluttered. A little but we all know what to do when that happens... pull in! We aren't exactly SHARING the track with another group. We've kind of "bought out" all of the spots through them. They'll still be running the show but we may or may not have all of the spots to ourselves. Depends on how many people register. In another two weeks or so I'm going to post to other forums and we'll see how quickly it fills up after that. For non-members we're offering $175 and through PDA (who'll be running the event) the price is around $220 so it's a deal! Tracks here on the east coast are EXPEN$IVE!

As a side note, a few years ago, I was at Watkins Glen toward the end of a long day and cars had dropped out or had gone home so there were probably 12 people in my group on the 3-3.5 mile track. I swear I think I got held up behind every one of them for nearly an entire lap. We came around to pit in and you know that only one other car went into the hot pits with me?!? Myself and the Mustang GT had the entire track to ourselves after that to play.

I imagine the passing zones are going to be the same as PDA? no passing on the infield?

Yes but that will be plenty. The south course doesn't really allow for passing anywhere else. The longest "straight" on the infield is probably only 150-200 feet long which really isn't all THAT much. The bowl is probably close to a half mile long.

If thats the case, I'm sure someone can Photochop the Cig outa Joe Camel here and put a pipewrench inthere instead. That would make a perfect vinyl sticker for the car
