Motorsports ADD is a real issue, and I think I've got it:
95 B14 SE-R, 95 Buell S2, 02 BBR SuperPro106, 05 CRF50, 06 Raptor 700, 06 KX450F
and the obligatory 06 Chevy Silverado dd/tow rig

No, but it is CLOSE. I merely threw out a request, I didn't sign up to plan and organize a convention by saying "how about XXX track".

Don't get your panties in a bunch just because some of us can't drive 14+ hours for a convention and would like something local to at least be in the consideration for the future.

Hey, nice shot of my baggy-pant butt in the Courtesy lot. Ah, the memories.

I had a low-maintenance girlfriend once ... very BORING too. Hey, you left out Megan's shower shots! Heh, heh ...

Congrats on upgrading to the B13!

If you're not willing to DO something about it, don't bitch about where the convention is and most especially where it ISN'T. The people who are doers are the only ones who deserve to be able to talk

If you're not willing to participate in planning and hosting a convention, you have absolutely no right to get your panties in a bunch. And what's wrong with a 14+ hour drive? Many others are doing it and I did a 20 hour drive down to Birmingham in 2003.

Don't be such a sourpuss just because the convention isn't and won't be in your backyard without someone stepping up to the plate. Unfortunately (for you) it looks like you're unwilling to do anything about it but would rather sit back, relax, and watch someone else do the work for you.

Where were you in '03? It was in your backyard. The closest convention for me, was Birmingham, but it didn't seem that way, since I made 3 trips down there to plan stuff. All the rest have been 12 - 14hrs away. Road Atlanta is mega buck to rent, and IMO, not beginner friendly. I would hate to see someone with little to no track driving, put their car into the wall on turn 11. This community as a whole, is cheap. People are not going to want to pay $300+ for a track day. Planning the convention is much more than just setting up a track day.
