John--
Did you get any shots of my epic battle with the black CRX in the first and second BLUE run groups, in the morning? I was in Jason S's black Classic with VE. You have one shot of me in pic #38 on your page.

Look for ANY with that car and the black CRX in them, when you get a moment.

Nice to finally meet you, by the way.

Well, so far looks like fun. I am actually kindof relieved, I thought I would see Charlie Brown out there with the Silver Frontier hot-lapping

The owner/driver and I had a great talk about our battle afterwards. It's a B16 block and has (IIRC) GSR pistons and some other stuff on it. Big brakes, Avon R-compound tires.

I couldn't touch that CRX in the infield. And he wanted no part of mister VVL on the NASCAR part of the track. I easily had 10-15mph on him through that section.

And...I was cruising.

Ya, no one went in. I think the intimidation factor from the Nascar wall keep everyone in check. Although I did see some rather ugly skidmarks coming out off the banking and into the wall. They weren't there during the my first run. I wonder what happened with that. I saw a few agricutural incidents. Blown off IC hoses and things coming loose here and there, corded tires, nothing major from what I saw/heard. The weather was perfect. I think that's what spared us the carnage. South course wet would have been...ahem.....interesting.

Not on the forum much lately since neck injury - we'll be back at it soon, babying the n00bies.

JWT S4, HS 6, Home Depot Intake, Hypercoil 2s w/ KYB "GR-Poo", CF Sunroof Delete panel, and other crap - where's my interior?

It's because his racing suit was too clean. Dirty race suits add downforce.

Neon? No way, we want "fro" pictures. You ain't right in the head, boy.
