This thread is dedicated to thanking Steve Foltz (aka 98sr20ve), the kick-ass friend of the community who did the beam bending on Friday. All I gotta say is that my car reacts so much better. Oh, and PA backroads are teh shizzle, you can't find a better place to test a newly bent beam
Steve busted his butt at the track event! Thanks for giving your day to help some people out Steve! You're a great guy, and I learned a bit about alignments just by watching you work for a bit.
I agree Steve you are an asset to the community!! Much thanks and appreciation. Your little alignment session was also very informative. Alot better than using the "string" method I used to use to align my car. I don't think I'm gonna ever pay anyone again to align my car. Thanks again!! And I am def. going to get my beam bent next year.
Steve! GREAT to finally meet you and have your handy work on the old B14. The car felt much better in the tighter sections, I can't wait to put the rear bar back on and see how she feels!
Steve is a hard working man, he was unstoppable on Friday!
Thanks for the comments everyone. Glad you all were happy. It was a great day and I still got one trip around the course in a B14 that I bent for Jeremy. Good driver BTW. Had fun watching him chase and pass a Miata from the passenger seat.
Hey steve, where can that info with the calculations that you handed out be printed from? I gave mine to a guy who didnt have internet at home. All very good info, BTW, I think the thrust angle was the one thing I wasn't sure on, but now I know!

I was at the alignment seminar. There were quite a few people there actually. I kinda wandered into it, but lots of info if you didn't know much about alignments/specs./terms, or even doing your own. Good stuff.
It was great meeting/talking with you Steve. I really enjoyed myself at the Thursday night dinner.
"Could I have some more water, please?"
