...just doing the best I could without standing on the brakes the whole time, sorry.... sucks to drive an automatic. In all actuality, I was trying my best not to be at the end of the caravan group - I've learned that being at the end of the group means if the group gets nailed by radar/laser/whatever, the end car gets pulled over first.
I'd already had my ticket. That's $165 I could've spent on parts.
If I'd have brought my Motorola, I would've asked you guys if you'd mind being behind me for my sake instead of trying to force it, but, I didn't (through my own fault) so, if that bit about me upset you, seriously, I'm sorry. I'm not usually the kinda guy that drives like that. It's bad, dangerous, the list goes on.... all I could think about, however, is having to explain to another highway patrolman why my dad wasn't in the car with me, when his name is on the rental papers. Apparently, even though I was listed as a second driver, he
has to be there.
Besides, the last thing I wanna do is piss off one of the few semi-local SR guys that's reasonably knowledgable when it comes to SR tech. Forgive me?
I'll just drive up to Chicago by myself next year then....

it can't be as bad as driving to NYC alone, can it?///H
