Thanks to Uncle Chuck and Becky for AWESOME picnic food

I'm sure everyone else will agree, but we couldn't have asked or gotten a better duo to cook for us at the park! Everything there was fantastic, and the pulled pork blew Virgils out of the water!

Thanks again for helping out, and making the carshow/picnic even better!

Next convention, bring more food. Have a budget set for more food. I am talking from experience. Do not understimate the crowd....I cannot comment because all I saw was chicken and pulled pork. But that chicken was juicy.....

Indeed. Food was great. I just wish I sampled the pulled pork.

Three weeks prior we gave chuck the total folks coming to the picnic. At that point in time it was 110. Chuck ordered food for 150 people. A few days prior the number skyrocketed to 148. Chuck picked up some more food after I informed him we were at 150 and expected that a number of LI folks would just show up after the fact.

People just need to start registering for these types of events a few weeks prior. Waiting to the last minute just ruins it for everyone.

I have already thanked Chuck and Becky personally but want to do it pubicly too.

It was nice to be able to hand the BBQ over to them and know that everything would be handled.

That allowed me deal with all the other tasks that needed to be done during and prior to the convention.

Again Thank You!

I second what ray said. I was unbelievable how many people just showed up.
