Did Everyone Make it Home Okay???

I know there were a lot of people driving long hours this weekend home. From what I understand, all the Ohio/N.Kentucky boys got home safe and sound, no popo trouble either. One of us had a hang up but thankfully we got it all taken care of and back on the road.

Everybody get home no problems?

DAMN!!! You are telling me! 8 of those quarts ended up on my windshield!

Ameen - good to meet you bro! I am sure there will be some local meets and motor swaps going on that we will get together at. Seems there are lots of people around here needing a swap, mainly DON!

Maybe if you didn't have the gas pedal taped to the floor you wouldn't have to put as much oil in your motor as gas in your tank hehehe... I mean sh*t, me and sam almost had all of indiana state patrol called trying to catch up to you guys... lol j/k

I'm glad you guys called out that undercover guy in the intrepid...

You should have seen us pull out of the Gas Station, we were like "doo doo dooooo"... I think we got on the on ramp at like 5 miles an hour

Yeah this is Tony.

Something is screwed up in the bellhousing assembly. Might be a clutch problem, TOB or the shop which installed my flywheel did not put locktite on the flywheel bolts.

Basically with the engine runing I could not shift into any gear. With the engine off I can shift into all gears. Also there is a noise coming from the trany when I start the car up, almost like there is some metal part just bouncing around in the bellhousing. I'll know more once I'll drop the transmission and see what is going on.

yea, we had them waiting for us at the gas station. i think we covered about 55 miles in like 25 minutes or soo. it was defenitely a fun drive. and defenitely the fastest 1/4 tank of gas i have ever used in my life. worth it though

Well, we finally rolled into the driveway at 7:05 this morning. We dropped my NX at Rodney's in Tennessee on our way, and hit Atlanta in time for the morning rush hour. Grabbed a shower and headed back to work. Got home for real about 30 minutes ago. I'm beat, but I had a GREAT time!

Thanks to everyone who helped to get the NX going even if it was only for about a quarter of a lap. Rodney, you really are like family to us and I could never thank you enough. And a special thanks to Jonathan and TIm for taking my girls out on the track. It's an experience I'm sure neither will ever forget. I can't see ever missing another convention after the fun we had.
