Midwest Travel

I'm planning on heading down in the sx, anyone else in the area going? Trips are always more fun in groups...

Hit me up if anyone wants to caravan/bum a ride.

I'd update the first thread, but seeming as eKool needs to prove himself, I can't. So here's the current travel plan I've gotten so far. If anyone wants to add a point to the route (within reason), let me know! It's a work-in-progress. I was thinking of going to St. Louis rather than Des Moines...any one for/against that?

Starting in Madison, WI
I-94 from Madison to Milwaukee
I-94 from Milwaukee to Chicago (82/115)
I-88 from Chicago to Des Moines (140/526)
I-80 from Des Moines to Kansas City
I-70 from Kansas City to Denver (599/604)
I-70 from Denver to I-15 to Las Vegas
Ending in Las Vegas!!!

Note: Red shows toll road routes, with tolled miles vs total miles in parenthesis

1703.46 miles, 24 hours, 31 minutes. SE-R 5th gear will be reving too high. I might drive the G20 with a couple of riders (girlfriend being 1 of them). Or just fly with the girlfriend. Not sure. Dates?

Hey Ben, if I drive. We should head out together.
