that would be what? a 4 day drive from here? anyone drive there from new england/NE are?
Mommy and Daddy confiscate your car all the time.
What makes you think that they will allow an ignorant, sheltered, niave child to drive all the way to Las Vegas?
If you do make it, Vegas does have some nice supervised play areas for kids while the grown-ups are enjoying all the 21+ activities. You can hang out in the arcade, maybe ride the rollercoaster at New York, New York Casino.
Plus, I am so looking forward to meeting you. I'm sure we'll get along fabulously based on our wonderful relationship on-line. I cannot wait to meet you up close and personal. That should be splendid.

Does anybody mind If I put a link to the 2008 Convention thread on www.myspecv.com? Myspecv.com is the biggest site for b15 and b16 sentras with 3000+ members. There are a lot of people there and I bet several of them would like to go.
Just let me know. I won't do it without the approval from you guys.
I might come too, with the turbo specV, If my money situation allows it. The 2007 convention was a lot of fun
Yeah there's usually a few non SR20 Nissans at the conventions. Myself one of them, last year (2007) with my 240SX with a KA.

Less than that and we don't even have any hotel info yet. It'd be nice to know so people can plan, book hotels, etc. Prices prices tend to increase based on demand. Not sure if there's anything big going on that weekend. Last year I stayed at Caesar's Palace (or Cesar's Place as my friend's and I call it ) the weekend after Independence Day and booked it a few months in advance and paid an average of $200 per night for two nights. A couple weeks before our trip I checked prices again and they were over $400 per night for the same room!
Anyone who wants to get in on a room while the getting is cheap(er), book a room anywhere. As long as you're in town, you can always meet up with everyone else. I'll be booking a room somewhere... as long as it's on the strip. Other than that, I can always walk, drive, or grab a cab to meet up with everyone else if they're at a different hotel.

Word. Nice thing about Vegas compared to everywhere else the convention has been, is the strip is a nice central location with a plethora of hotels. It's really not all that much further than if you had rooms on the opposite side of a previous Embassy, since there's a tram system...
I think that would be the case if it were anywhere else but Vegas. Vegas is only 3-4 hours away from most of us and is the party capitol of the west coast....so you know people are going to show up.

Betcha they don't. And (nothing personal... I don't really know you and I'm generalizing but...) I'll be you're not there. I have seen SO many times where people say "I'm definitely going to be there" and, when the event comes around, they're not there. Like I said, nothing against you... I'm generalizing
