Convention wise maybe, local meet wise no. I haven't seen those fools at a local meet in over a year. Mr. Rock most likely will not be coming this year since he's got a little one on the way. As far as Martin, who knows. As Shig said, I have every intention of being there.

Meh. The "local" meets for you aren't so local for me. I'm 2-3 hours away from the closer ones...
But you're right, the chances of me making it are slim. Laura's due sometime around the convention, so there's no way I'm leaving... Oh well, always next year...
local meets are usually gay anyways. Its turned into a bunch of fools talking about their interior and JDM foglights for 6 hours straight. I didnt buy my SR powered cars for the interior or the foglights, so I dont fit in and neither do most of the old schooler people (the people that have all the fun at conventions)....Youre not missing anything Hop Singh.
Im hoping I dont have any crazy sh*t goin on with school, but I should still make it.
Damn Jose, you're judging the local meets based on the one G20 meet you went to. lol. The P guys are a different breed. Most of the meets aren't like that one.
Show up to the Stillen meet on the 17th, you'll be pleasantly surprised.
naa man. its generally the same people at any "socal" event.
The Petersen meet/show was cool, but thats cause there was alot of people from different communities, etc. And even then, there was like what? 3 turbo FWD SR's?
No disrespect, but its just not my cup o' tea nor is it the other people's that you mentioned above. Thats why we just rather wait for the conventions (where one way or another fun will be had-since people fly in) rather than go to the meets...
Word. That, and I prefer to spend my available weekends (which are few) at the track rather than a parking lot. If I want to sit in a parking lot and look at cars, I'll just go to a dealership...
Jody! Sup ho! Hows the ATX? One of my buddies recently put in a LS1 with a mild cam into his 98 240. 380whp.... good times! King Jeff has a LS1 in his FD.
Sorry guys! I had every intention of having reg. up by now but the last month we have had some serious family stuff going on and convention got put on the back burner. I am waite for finalization on 2 things and then I can get reg up. I should have all info by this weekend so I am sure reg and all info will be up in the next few weeks. I would have posted sooner but my computer took a dump and its getting fixed I am having to borrow one.
