Do we have a date yet?
1st half of 2008 vacation requests are due at work in 10 days. I don't plan to miss the convention, so do we have anything planned yet?

Even "We just don't know yet" from the actual committee would be better than the current speculation running rampant.

I heard from someone that it's not coming together well...

I'm really disappointed in the way that this has been planned. Reflects poorly on the organizers...

I emailed one of the people involved, and she told me she is meeting with the track officials at the end of this month. After that, we will have a firm date. She also has the park that we will use set up. As soon as I have more info, I will forward it.

Keep in mind that this is Vegas, so if we're going to be on the strip, expect to pay more for rooms than previous conventions...

my recommendations for a reasonable rate and center strip is Flamingo (fairly nice), Harrah's(fairly nice), or Imperial Palace (not so nice, but cheap!). Though you can stay at other hotels that are right off the strip for a lot less.

Good thing im local no hotel rates !! My engine build should also be done by then aswell as paint job and new rims. can't wait.
