The 2008 North East SE-RConvention OFFICAL Thread!
I am not going threw with this anymore! I have gotten confirmation that the "Annual SERCA Convention is a GO for 2008" The dates will be released soon. I thing that we have all learned from me putting this thread up, is there is definatley support out their in our community. By that being said, I am definatley interested in hosting the '09 or 2010 SERCA Convention in the NE.
Sounds good to me, I'm in. The only thing is that snow is still a possibility at that time of year which means salt on the roads. That might be a factor for the people who don't drive their cars in the winter.

I'm there. If you need a packet containing directions, local dealers, free-day activities, etc., I still have it in electronic format from the last northeast convention when I helped co-organize it.

It's not going to be a $50 weekend. Count on it.
Anytime you go to something like a convention, where it takes lots of time and money to organize, you should expect to pay a decent amount.
Anytime I've ever been to a convention (not sr convention), it's cost me around $500, for room and board, car rental, convention fees, etc.
You need to plan it as though you were leaving town for a weekend, and had to pay for everything yourself.
YES this is liek right up the stree from me basically.. im in MD so there is no excuse for me not to make this
