Pic request

Does anyone have a pic of a B14 with the muffler angled like on 240sx's. My buddy is thinking of doing it and wants to see what it looks like. I know I have seen a pic of one somewhere on here but I can't seem to find it.

He doesnt want to spend the money for Greddy, I am about to get a muffler shop to bend some pipe for my exhaust and he wants to wait and see how mine turns out to decide if he wants custom exhaust from a muffler shop or if he wants to the vrs kit. But, he is set on the angled look no matter how many times I tell him not to. But it's his car he can do what he wants. I just want a pic to show him that it won't look good.

Maybe we could all sign a petition so he won't do it, he is pretty set on it though. I will show him everyone's opinion on the matter and see if it changes his mind.

Does he plan on "drifting" it also? Angled cannister exhausts look so tasteless on most cars, esp. n/a and fwd cars.

Tuner BAsh

Jeremy... Jeremy for the sake of the good image that the B14 have, tell him not to do it. Is this the same guy that you introduce to me when you came down here. Oh! Dude Spring break is around the corner and tuner bash is coming down(March 12-13 I think) here in Padre Mark your Calendars dude. Just print this post of yours and show it to him.

Same to you Rob. You're like 4 hrs away drive anyway.

No, its not the same guy. I think me and the guy you met before are going to South Padre for spring break so we might have to go see how that Tuner Bash is. I will give you a call.

Angled mufflers on our cars means more bends. Certain cars like s14's benefit from angled mufflers because of less bends.

sooo true man. this lady with a riced out honda civic came to nissan to trade it in i guess. it had the whole package, cheesy rims, lowered, crappy body kit and paintjob, the lady drove it like she was sitting in a lawn chair(with a baby in the car no less real responsible) and the big angled fart cannon. It was hilarious to see my 50-60 some odd year old boss drive that thing. angled mufflers are too goofy lookin.

Geesh, your all like some little high school girls and complaining about other girls outfits. What if I complained about your hair. Your clothes. Your house. Your kids. Your choice of food. What if everyone did it. How annoying would that be? Wouldn't you just wanna be yourself and not have anyone judge you? Its weird, *** that's what i'd like. There's a lack of individuality on this forum.

In my opinion, you didn't get him to change his mind because he thinks it looks bad all of a sudden. He just wants people to like him...even if means not being who he is. Since when were you all raised to be like everyone else?

good point vroom...... i personally like the angled exhaust idea as long as the extra bend isnt hurting performance which i imagine it cant gurt it too bad

Oh well, I am just happy that I'm not gonna have to see that on his car everyday. Maybe thats selfish but who cares. I think he wanted the angled look because everyone had it, not because he liked it.

You never know. I could careless what his decision is, just as long as HE likes it. Just tired of hearing everyong being so close minded about people's sense of individuality. Once you've been here for two years, you see a trend of how this forum 'converts' people. Some people have really good idea's, new idea's...and they are just always shut down. It's like 'will the real slim shady, please stand up'.
