CF Hood

Where is the best place to get a carbon fiber hood from, I see these hoods on ebay but I am kinda of skeptical because of the prices. Anyone know any good places.

ive seen some on ebay but i think those require hood pins which isnt really my thing, and i'm not sure i trust them either. The ones that I know of are...

fiber images
VIS

They are pricey but i've heard good things about them an they use a stock hood latch. I'm hoping to pick one up in march.

None of the CF hoods out there use the stock hood latch. They might be "like" the stock latch, but that's it. I would suggest using hood pins on ALL CF hoods.

As far as quality goes, the Fiber Images I feel is the best. From what's I've seen it is the lighest out of all of them. But if you want to get an E-bay one, I would always try to see it in person before you buy. Also try to get one locally, CF hoods almost always get damaged in transit and I wouldn't want to risk it.
