any use of anything?

i had an NX2000 and a trashcan jumped out in front of me and now i'm tryin to get a 96 200sx se-r and i was wonderin if anything from the b-13 would fit on a b-14..... i'm considering parting out my NX but wanna know if i can use anything... u know????

oooh, i forgot about the brakes.... would i have to replace everything else or would the pads slide right in???

You need the calipers, pads, and rotors.

You would be replacing you smaller 200sx rotors and calipers with the NX2K's

The rotor's are here to show you the difference.
If you were to use 200sx pads in an NX2000 the pads could fall out from clearance issues.

Umm... I don't know if there's something f*cked up about how Nissan brakes work, but every single car I've worked on has the caliper piston move inwards to keep constant pressure on the pads and keep the rotors sandwiched. The pads are NOT going to fall out, no matter how thin the rotor gets, unless the caliper pistons have reached their maximum extension. That's why one of the prime things you have to do when replacing pads is to press or turn the piston back into the caliper - they expand to spec when you first step on the brakes.

I beg to differ. Serban's Nx2000 had a SE-R Rotor in it and his brake pad fell out. That's where I got the picture

yeh, i found a 98 200sx, came up for $1000, i dont thyink the guy knew what he had, anyways, he thinks hois transmition is shot, its an automatic and we wanna get it home before we assess the problem and fix it, but i plan to do a manual swap anyways... hehehe. i came up.
