cut out front bumper supports for intercooler?

I'm having some body work done on my 200 this week. I wanted to cut the 3 supports in the middle of the front bumper cover to give it a cleaner look for the intercooler. I've seen quite a few people on here do this. Did anyone expericance any problems as far as the bumper flexing at high speeds.

i had to cut out a section of my core support beam thing, as well as the bumper supports. i used a jigsaw on the core support, as it's pretty thick, and the harbor freight air wheel cutter wouldn't do the job.

if you dont have one, buy a dremel it made mine 100 times easier. but the intercooler keeps anything from flexing(its a tight fit)

It has 4 bolts underneath, along with 2 on top and 2 in the fenders. They keep it in place pretty well.
