What springs???

Well gang I am helping a fellow buddy out. He wants some loweing springs. Now I have a couple of questions.

Basically he wants a low drop. What springs provide one? Also he really does not want to run into camber issues. What springs do you all reccomend? Also he does not want a bumpy ride. All your feedback is greatly appreciated. TIA!!

It depends how much he's willing to spend. Since he wants a low drop and a good ride, he'll have to spend in excess of $1000. He'll need a set of good quality coilovers that have shortened struts. I believe the best bang for the buck is the Motivational set up. I have a set of their coilovers and love them. He'll also need a camber kit. I would suggest the Ground Control camber kit. It is expensive, but well worth it. They give you camber and caster adjustability as well as increased suspension travel.

If you dont want to spend alot. I think intrax and eibach make a good spring. I also think that sprint makes a good spring for the money. My eibach are wore out so I am going to sprint to save some money.

I put the sprint springs, kyb adjustables, with the motivational rear strut mounts on a 95 200sx a couple of years ago. I also cut the rear bump stops about in half.
Bottomed out too much for my tastes. Current 200sx is stock heighth. If I was going to drop it and not use GC coilovers, I would go less than 2 inches.

i got the same set-up and im not happy with it. i might get eibach prokits. is it as bounce as sprints?? i know the drop is only 1.4 inches as opposed to sprints w/c are 2.

I have this setup. The ride absolutely fine, on a good road its as good as stock. Although the drop in the front is 2.5", I have never bottomed out. I would recommend this setup to anyone. Also, it looks bad ass!

I'm wondering about the H&R springs. From what I've seen in pics they eliminate our fender/wheel gap. Anyone know the spring rates are? How do they ride?

Ive got B+G springs and KYB AGX, i think the setup is great. It is a 2.0inch drop in the front and 1.7inch in the rear, they do that to prevent the front tire gap that you commonly see on 200sx(where the car looks like it has a hell of a lot of weight in the rear)

I have the unfamous sportlines/prokit combo. I am using b13 agx struts in the front and some wore out rear b14 agx. I also have the motivational rear mounts. This set-up eliminates the uneven tire gaps that you commonly see on the b14s... I think they look balance to me . Ride is pretty smooth, but it does bottom ups on super deep pot holes.

I like the ride of teins but the drops sounds like would be ugly. I like my car even when i drop it. I noticed nobody has tired intax. I would like to get an option on them as well.

The Teins would make your car even when it's dropped. That's why the the front springs are so much lower than the rear. B14's look much lower in the rear than in the front with stock springs.
