Has anyone come into this problem. My fuel door gets stuck everytime I go to fill up my tank. The fuel lever on the inside is working properly to open it, but the fuel door needs to be pushed open when holding the lever down. Any ideas to fix my stuck fuel door. I'm gonna lube the fuel door joints tomorrow to see if it solves my problem.
Did a lil fixing with some Valvoline Synth Lube on the fuel door hinges. Also pushed the lid towards the car with it open, so when it closes, the fuel lid doesnt rub against the body of the car(That's why its not opening properly). So far its opening until i come across the problem again.

I just bent the latch of mine back on the door itself; so now it doesn't lock... but then again, I am not really worried about that. In order to open it, I push on the left side of the door and it swings open.
haha mine did this. i had to take my shoe off, jam the lever down beside the seat, and take a credit car, stick it in the crack and yank it open. fun times
anyways... about fixing: i just took the door off. grabbed some pliers and bent the hinge a little. still works good.
mine also does this, although i did not fix it yet, i just release the latch and then hit the left side and it pops open... not reccomended on a car with a good paint job
