Premature Headlight Burnout

Sup all. I have a 200sx se-r 95 that i have been using Sylvania Silver stars in them. Stock headlight unit and all... but the lights keep burning out way earlier than they should. I'd have to say about every 4 months. One goes, then the other not to much later after that. I have replaced both, and have had another go out. What can i do to prevent this? Is it the light bulbs, or do i have a voltage issue. Fog lights are flawless amoung all other lights. Thanks

Sylvania tells you on the website that the lifespan of the silverstars is FAR less than on a typical bulb. They say the best you can expect under "average" usage is one year.

The X-tra vision bulbs are much better than the silverstars. They put more light on the road, last a lot longer and cost 1/2 the price.

Coated bulbs are bad....mmmmmkay?
