Rehash on SS Brake Lines

I know that this has been brought up a lot, but there has never really been an answer. Has anyone written up a SS brake line install? I just got my Crown lines from Mossy for my 97. First, they look like they are too big to go in the same places as the stock lines. Two, all four lines are identical. Is there any preference to detaching from the hydraulic line first, or the caliper first? Sorry if this info exists somewhere, I just can't find it.

You might find something in the SE-R mailing list archives. Basically, you are worrying too much. It's a very simple job, just make sure you bleed the brakes when done. Make sure to use new crush washers, too.

this is really pretty self explanitory, i'd say to disconect bracket, then caliper and that way you can let it drain into some container and not get nasty brake fluid all over the floor. in the mean time connect the new one to the caliper and then as quick as possible disconect the old one up top and connect the new, if you want the fluid to drain more slowly, don't take the cap off the master cylinder, atleast that's what makes sence to me
