Egr Pipe Question?? Help!!??

i have a 97 200sx ser..but a different motor in it.
dont know what year it is. will the ( 1/2) ( /7)
stamped on the head next to the dist. on the bottom of the intake cam help? or the numbers next to the sr20 stamped on the block if i bring it to the dealers? parts guy told me
1995-96 share the same part #
1997 - has its own part #
1998 - has its own part #
so i dont wanna order the wrong part and waste my money.
is there a stamp on the tranny?? if u know the difference from
each egr pipe...that'll be great because parts counter guy didnt.
please help with any useful information.

I don't know exactly where you live but why don't you just eliminate the EGR all together.

Golf tee

Get a golf tee and a 100k ohm resister. I need to do this too.

Just to add a little I believe it is a 1/4 watt 100k ohm resistor.
