Hi Guys! Just popping in to re-introduce myself, subscribe to the discussion (and then get back to work)!

Looks like Torry has been doing a great job of conveying all the necessary information... My wife Becky and I attended the 09 event in Savannah, and I just wanted to take a sec to publicly mention how cool it was meeting the SR20 / SE-R crowd and working with you all to help ensure the event came together...

This event is THE most important event for us for the year, and we're committed to keeping the tradition going for the long haul. This subsection of the Nissan enthusiast community has always been incredibly cohesive, and we'd like to preserve that...

The Savannah Convention was a real special trip for us - I proposed to my wife (Becky) on Tybee Island that Saturday.

A little about us: We're a Nissan family, no question. She's a B210 fanatic, and has a Frontier 4x4 and a RB-swapped early Z. We've got 4 other classic Datsuns, a new Cube, probably the most radical S13 droptop in existence, and a heavily-modded G Coupe. My SR experience came from a VE-swapped P10 Touring (which I regret selling) and a few S-chassis SR swaps.

Anyhow, enough rambling.... If anyone needs anything, I'm glad to help. We're going to be pedal-to-the-metal between now and June preparing for the Convention, but I've always got time to reply to emails, so if there's something Torry can't answer for you, feel free to drop me or Becky a line!

greg@nicoclub.com
torry@nicoclub.com

Thanks for all of your support and trust. I know how much this event has meant to all of you, and with your help, I'd like us ALL to ensure it continues long into the future.

Looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting some new ones.

Thanks again, guys.

- Greg

p.s. Any chance we could get the title and first post updated to reflect the location and dates?

Ray and I are flying in. I think we're going to ask for a Toyota rental so we can pull away from the rental place with our helmets on

i know there was going to be a lot more local Nissan guys coming but the convention is the same time as the Branson Z-fest so they are going to that instead.

Registrations are starting to roll in, so get your name on the books ASAP!

Branson is a national event, but it's more of a car show and a family vacation thing than a motorsports thing.

Plus, that event ends before we're done tracking. SO we should see some increased Z participation on Saturday / Sunday.

For the guys who want to "hard park", wander around Branson, see the sights and such, they'll be there... The guys who want to get a TON of track time at a world-class motorsports venue will make their way to Mid-America.

Plus, that event ends on Saturday, and we'll still be tracking Sunday. SO we should see some increased Z participation on Sunday.
