Me too..... Not the fastest driver but signed up for advanced also... Last few events I have done in inter. havebeen scary. Some people that belong there and some beginnrs doing really stupid stuff. At least in advanced we have enough seat time to know what we are doing safety wise.

The trip north to Omaha was fun while it lasted. I got all of ten miles from my house when the Miata took a killing blow to the radiator by a piece of metal kicked up by the vehicle in front of me. It sits at the dealer devoid of coolant and a slash through the Mazdaspeed bumper cap. That's fourteen hundred bucks right there. I was too afraid to to peer under the hood to see what all was damaged.

I thought I was going to do an engine swap the week of the convention, Sunday I arrived in KC to swap my header and one of my sway bars, and my car died and wouldn't start.. the starter would turn, but it just wouldn't start, sounded like garbage too..
turns out it was just the AC compressor pulley/clutch had froze.. whew...
