...if Torry doesn't get the rest of the stuff done in time, you guys might get to witness some "Days of Thunder" action on the track.

Make sure you strap down your pink walker in the trunk, you don't want it to fly around and hit you in the head when you attempt to catch up with me.

You'll be on Craigslist tires. Shouldn't be a problem.

Side note, gonna see if we can replicate or beat Motor Trend's road test results in the Maxima.

You're confused. It was Top Gear that did "Grannies spinning donuts" not Motor Trend.

Me too..... Not the fastest driver but signed up for advanced also... Last few events I have done in inter. havebeen scary. Some people that belong there and some beginnrs doing really stupid stuff. At least in advanced we have enough seat time to know what we are doing safety wise.

Yeah but we were pretty much under control at all times.... I trust you being stupid more than I trust a bunch of other people I don't know on the track...

That was a really good track day! Those guys were so cool!!!! We could have gotten away with a demo derby so long as they were entertained!

The trip north to Omaha was fun while it lasted. I got all of ten miles from my house when the Miata took a killing blow to the radiator by a piece of metal kicked up by the vehicle in front of me. It sits at the dealer devoid of coolant and a slash through the Mazdaspeed bumper cap. That's fourteen hundred bucks right there. I was too afraid to to peer under the hood to see what all was damaged.

Maybe next year.

Oh dude that sucks! Sorry you're going to miss it It's been a while since you've made one. Was Austin the last one you were at?

I thought I was going to do an engine swap the week of the convention, Sunday I arrived in KC to swap my header and one of my sway bars, and my car died and wouldn't start.. the starter would turn, but it just wouldn't start, sounded like garbage too..

turns out it was just the AC compressor pulley/clutch had froze.. whew...
