They are over 3 inch OD. Tube is under 2 inch OD. It depends on the shape of the tire as well. A tire that gently rolls from the shoulder to the tread has more room for the perch. A square edge tire has less. You now see the amount of room for error you have. That is why I recommend leaving the rears alone and just using the oem perch.
