The stock bottom can def handle some boost. For 2 years I been pushin 15 psi daily beatings on a t3/t4 57 trim at 350 whp comletely stock longblock and 20 psi on 109 oct for 420 whp. They can def handle the power, you just gotta have a good tune.
I never had an issue other than my 100km motor leaking from the FMS and the water pump gasket.
I am fully built now but that is because I want 500whp.
Stock bottom end is def good for 400
